Welcome to the official site of fantasy writer Adron J. Smitley (this site still heavily under construction, so please come back often for updates).Adron was born and raised in little ol' Orrville, Ohio where he still resides with his two dogs Sam (a never-ending bundle of energy Boxer) and Bear (the little Rott pup you see him holding in the pic above; though at 7 months old now, and pushing 60lbs, she's not so little anymore).Every morning like clockwork, Adron gets up, lets his dogs out, and commenses to write as he comsumes a mass amount of coffee and chain smokes with his trusty asthma inhaler by his side. When not writing, he uses his spare time to read as much as he can. Some of his favorite authors include: Fred Saberhagen, Andre Norton, George R. R. Martain, Terry Goodkind, and Robert Jordan just to name a few. Adron is currently reading the fifth book in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan while waiting for both Terry Goodkind's last book in his Sword of Truth series to come out, and for George R. R. Martain to bust his hump finishing up the last novel in his Song of Fire and Ice series.Adron is a movie buff whose favorite is the Unforgiven, though Shaun of the Dead and Army of Darkness come close. He likes his popcorn salt free with extra butter, and if he ever gets around to it he tries to exercise.
